GETTING TO KNOW US
Encore theatre has been in the Independence, MO community since 1987! We encourage everyone to stay active in the theatrical and musical fields, and we provide family entertainment for all ages. We are dedicated to providing a vibrant activity for mature adults performing comedies and lighter theatrical materials, while working towards networking, socializing, and building relationships as we entertain our community.
Encore is not just for actors - there are opportunities for anyone interested in all aspects of theatre! To put an evening of live entertainment on stage we need folks that are willing to get the “stage” ready for opening night. If you enjoy talking to people, working with your hands, sewing, decorating, thrift shopping, building things, creating things, and guiding people around so that they are at the right place at the right time, or working with lighting or sound equipment, then we have a place for you.
